About The Position
Responsible for maintenance and safety of the facility (indoors and outdoors) assuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment utilized for building activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of job-related experience
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Excellent mathematical skills
- Must have rational reasoning skills to solve practical problems
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Able to operate machinery including sweeper
- Ability to manage multiple projects
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings; inspect assigned buildings/related fixtures, mechanical equipment, machines, and other structural components.
- Keep the building and grounds neat, clean, free from clutter and safe from hazards.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms (as needed)
- Clean windows, distribution center floor, dock areas and maintain cleanliness of parking lot.
- Responsible for trash collection inside and outside of the building
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and other necessities
- Perform minor maintenance duties including light plumbing, electrical, hanging pictures and similar tasks
- Assemble warehouse racks, ladders, and displays
- Maintain and execute preventative maintenance schedule to include: dusting and sanitizing workstations, cleaning refrigerators, deep cleaning of work areas, using the sweeper for the warehouse floor, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
