Under the responsibility of the Warehouse Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for the cleanliness of the warehouse and employee common areas.

Requirements

Able to use basic cleaning equipment; brooms, mops, sweeper, vacuum, etc.
Able to understand and follow safety and security procedures and comply with health and safety policies.
Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning products
Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.
Able to follow instructions and work independently.
Ability to manage your time efficiently.
Attention to detail and brings a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

General cleaning of the building.
Sweep warehouse floors.
Cleaning warehouse pick locations, racking areas as directed.
Empty trash and recycling cans, picking up loose garbage, cardboard, plastic as needed.
Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, doors, walls.
Scrubbing with an automatic floor scrubber.
Cleaning bins, mop buckets, tools as needed.
Must be able to work in cooler and dock areas at 1-4 degrees Celsius.
Must be able to work in a freezer at -24 / -26 degrees Celsius.
Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and replenish as needed.
Notify Supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.
Other duties as required.
