Warehouse Case Dock Worker - Day Shift
About The Position
Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Case Dock Worker to join their team. This role involves the physical loading and unloading of milk cases, staging them within trailers, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the warehouse environment. The position requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Associates will operate lift trucks for case handling and perform regular maintenance on equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability and a willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Must regularly lift up to 60 pounds.
- Must be able to move up to 300 pounds.
- Must be willing to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload milk cases from trailers using a lift truck.
- Stage stacks of cases inside trailers for efficient removal.
- Keep case lines full while the plant is running.
- Identify and set aside extremely dirty cases for special handling.
- Clean and maintain case washers, conveyors, floors, drains, and equipment according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment used.
- Tag and log fresh returns as necessary.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
