This role is for a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker in the wine and spirits industry, responsible for receiving, storing, and picking alcoholic beverage products in a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in inventory management, palletizing, forklift operation, and maintaining accurate stock records while adhering to safety regulations and industry compliance standards. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet productivity goals while ensuring product quality and customer satisfaction. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to support efficient warehouse operations is essential.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate scanning devices.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-managed and motivated to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years old.
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receiving product from suppliers – ensuring accuracy of incoming inventory using scanning devices
  • Put away inbound pallets of freight in both racked and bulk locations.
  • Replenish locations for selection.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management System bar code scanning system to accurately account for and locate product.
  • Ensure all damaged products are properly removed from inventory and handled in accordance with procedures.
  • Safely operate and utilize manual and power equipment.
  • Complete forklift certification program.
  • Order selection following standard processes
  • Follow all safety and cleanliness protocols
  • Other warehouse duties and activities as assigned.
