Warehouse Bulk Stocker/Picker
About The Position
Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is a leader in the commissary market and is seeking operations team members for its warehouse and distribution environment. This is an essential business role in a non-retail, non-public setting, with PPE provided to all employees. The position involves performing warehouse tasks such as receiving, preparing, and shipping products. It is a full-time role with cross-training opportunities across distribution departments, and the possibility to specialize. The facility is a fully operational warehouse servicing multiple business lines. Team members will unload, receive, and put away product, select product for customer orders, build and load pallet orders using forklifts and material handling equipment, and manage inventory. The role also involves using technology such as mobile scan guns, computers, and tablets, and maintaining a clean workspace. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- 1 year of Warehousing experience
- Previous/Current Picking and Packing of Warehouse Orders
- EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Able to operate a Walkie Rider
- RF Scan Gun experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
- Ability to lift up to 70lbs.
- Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
- Selecting product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
- Building, staging, and loading pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) in support of our Bulk team
- Load third party and internal delivery trucks
- Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
- Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
- Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
- Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
