About The Position

Keefe Group, a division of TKC Holdings, Inc., is a leader in the commissary market and is seeking operations team members for its warehouse and distribution environment. This is an essential business role in a non-retail and non-public setting. The company provides PPE to all employees. This full-time position involves developing teams and building careers, with opportunities to perform warehouse tasks such as receiving, preparing, and shipping products. Cross-training across distribution departments is encouraged, with the option to specialize. The facility services multiple business lines, and the role includes tasks like unloading, receiving, putting away product, selecting product for customer orders, building and loading pallet orders, managing inventory, and leveraging technology like WMS systems, mobile scan guns, and material handling equipment. Maintaining a clean workspace is also part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• 1 year of Warehousing experience is REQUIRED.
• Previous/Currently Picking and Packing of Warehouse Orders REQUIRED
• EPJ (Electric Pallet Jack) experience is REQUIRED.
• Able to operate a Walkie Rider is REQUIRED
• RF Scan Gun REQUIRED
• Ability to become forklift and material handling equipment certified.

Nice To Haves

• Stand Up Counterbalance experience PREFERRED
• Forklift experience is PREFERRED
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
• Select product for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
• Build, stage, and load pallet orders on modern forklifts and material handling equipment (MHE) in support of our Bulk team
• Load third party and internal delivery trucks
• Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
• Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
• Help maintain a clean workspace
• Perform other duties as determined by the needs of the business
