About The Position

The Chadwell Supply Branch Manager is responsible for the daily functions of all processes and tasks associated with a Chadwell Supply distribution branch. This position leads and is accountable for all operations employees associated with their branch. The Branch Manager is the primary leader of a Chadwell Supply distribution branch and facilitates all aspects of daily operations while managing company resources, expanding customer service areas, and developing employee career path potential.

Requirements

• Be a minimum of 25 years of age.
• Previous employee supervision experience.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in a warehouse working environment.
• Above-average computer literacy and experience.
• Ability to learn and adapt to changes in work processes and train all employees on changes as they occur.

Responsibilities

• Leads and is accountable for all operations employees associated with their branch.
• Assists with or performs all operations tasks associated with the daily operations of a Chadwell Supply distribution branch.
• Strives to provide excellent customer satisfaction through prompt and accurate product delivery; provides communication with company and customer personnel in the branch will call orders; and assists other delivery drivers to ensure all daily customer orders are completed.
• Ensures that all employees under their supervision receive an annual review and communicates results personally with employees. Provides documentation of positive and negative traits and behaviors on a written review of employee file.
• Performs all aspects of the order processing functions for all customer orders including pulling orders, packaging orders, creating delivery paperwork, processing completed delivery tickets and returns, and proper paperwork processes and procedures.
• Ensures that a daily inspection of all delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment is performed including all fluid levels, tire pressure, and condition, and general road worthiness of delivery vehicles.
• Ensures that delivery drivers submit as directed all daily customer delivery receipts, and relay specific customer issues or requests via delivery documents. Ensures that all branch Delivery Drivers comply with proper paperwork procedures for orders and invoices.
• Maintains, records, and submits as directed all cash, checks, and funds received from customers to management at the end of the business day. Records all funds received from customers on delivery documents including total amounts received, check numbers, and related documents.
• Is accountable for the research and evaluation of inventory variances.
• Ensures that product cycle counting procedures are performed each day.
• Ensures that the branch distribution center maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment and that the product is stocked and stored in a safe and organized manner. Floors, aisles, and passageways are to be maintained free of products and hazards.
