About The Position

We’re looking for motivated, engaged people to help make everyone’s journeys better. A Warehouse attendant is responsible for loading/unloading products of varying size and weight on to/off of company truck when needed by hand or electric pallet jack or use of other equipment. This role involves transferring goods between onsite warehouse facilities using a company truck, ensuring accuracy of loads and deliveries, and inspecting product for damage or quality issues. The attendant will also be responsible for re-packing airline equipment to customer specifications, participating in inventory cycle counts, and maintaining the cleanliness and mechanical condition of company vehicles.

Requirements

  • Driver license required.
  • Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
  • Work overtime when required.
  • Arrive to work on-time.
  • Must comply with company policies.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Up to one-year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Loading/unloading products of varying size and weight on to/off of company truck by hand or electric pallet jack or use of other equipment.
  • Checking product and associated paperwork to ensure accuracy of load and delivery.
  • Inspecting product for damage/quality.
  • Reporting any damage or quality issues to immediate supervisor.
  • Transferring goods between onsite warehouse facilities using company truck.
  • Unloading and transferring goods to appointed storage area within the warehouse facility upon delivery to destination.
  • Driving and operating the company truck and all other equipment used in a safe manner and in accordance with all OSHA and company rules and policies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of company truck and reporting any mechanical issues/damage immediately to direct supervisor.
  • Re-packing of airlines equipment to customer specifications.
  • Participating in inventory cycle counts.
  • Following directions.
  • Working as a member of a team.
  • Completing paperwork and related administrative duties.
