Warehouse Lead, $23.50/hr
About The Position
Spreetail is seeking a Team Lead to join their team. The Team Lead will be responsible for setting and clarifying departmental requirements and expectations while fostering an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication. This role involves mentoring, training, and developing team members to optimize performance and create organizational depth. The Team Lead will also track production metrics, use data for continuous improvement strategies, and report findings to management. Duties may include performing other assigned tasks, rotating to different shifts or departments, and working extended hours or holidays as needed. A key expectation is arriving at least 30 minutes early and staying at least 30 minutes late to complete pass-downs, reports, and timecard reviews.
Requirements
- Team member experience in either Inbound or Outbound fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities
- Recognize, mentor, and provide training and development to optimize performance, and create organizational depth and individual growth.
- Track production metrics, utilize data to develop strategies for continuous improvement and report to management.
- Perform other duties as assigned, rotate to other shifts/departments, and work extended hours and holidays as needed.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes early and remain at least 30 minutes at end of shift to complete pass downs, reports, and timecard review.
- Understand safety procedures, ensure safe working practices, and document accidents/incidents timely.
- Drive results and approach obstacles proactively by prioritizing appropriately to meet deadlines.
- Assist the fulfillment center manager and area manager with the establishment of long-term operational strategic plans.
