About The Position

The Warehouse Associate receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse while ensuring work is completed accurately and on time. The role supports shipping and receiving, order assembly, inventory, warehouse organization and cleanliness, and safe operation of machinery. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. It is full time, Monday through Friday, generally 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., for 40 hours per week; hours may vary by location or business needs.

Requirements

At least one year of prior warehouse experience.
High school diploma required.
Strong communication skills and a good attitude.
Organizational, multitasking, prioritization, basic mathematics, and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including regularly lifting or moving objects up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally more than 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute them to sales associates for processing.
Move materials and items between receiving, storage, and other designated areas.
Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
File requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials.
Distribute items to shipping or other designated areas for route drivers.
Keep the warehouse accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
Assemble customer orders from stock, place orders on pallets or shelves, and relocate orders to a holding area.
Mark materials with identifying information using assigned methods.
Log materials received or distributed and assist with physical inventory counts.
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse facilities.
Perform additional assignments as directed by supervisors.
Measure wire correctly, load it onto machinery, and operate machinery safely in accordance with company safety standards.
Properly label completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer labels.
