About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at Floor & Decor, you support retail operations by compiling orders, replenishing and moving merchandise on the sales floor or to customers’ vehicles, checking inventory and orders, assisting customers, and operating a forklift. The role is suited to someone who is friendly, organized, hardworking, and comfortable in a warehouse environment. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

The position requires following company safety processes, working accurately in a fast-paced environment, providing strong customer service, and keeping merchandise and work areas organized. Warehouse conditions may include moving vehicles; noise is typically quiet to moderate. Physical duties involve lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving objects, as well as frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

The minimum base pay is $15.00 per hour, with higher starting pay available based on experience. Benefits and rewards are subject to eligibility where specified.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.
• Where permitted by state law, passing a drug test is required for certification to use heavy equipment.
• Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force occasionally, 20–30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; often use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
