About The Position

Premier Packaging is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate to move and manage corrugated materials within its manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky. The role operates a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to load and unload trucks, transport materials between storage and production areas, and support inventory accuracy and efficient workflow. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., for an expected 40 hours per week, with overtime when needed. Pay is $18.57–$24.90 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Follow safety regulations related to forklift operation.
• Have 1–3 years of experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification is preferred.
• Experience with different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, or clamp forklifts.
• Familiarity with handling and transporting materials in a corrugated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the manufacturing facility.
• Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using a forklift.
• Transport materials to and from production areas to support timely delivery.
• Assist with organizing and managing facility inventory.
• Conduct regular counts and checks to help ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Adjust material-handling activities in response to production demands.
• Work with other forklift operators and team members to optimize workflow.
• Communicate with production supervisors, warehouse staff, and other team members to coordinate material movements.
• Report issues or delays that may affect production schedules.
