About The Position

The Part-time Warehouse Associate supports branch operations by handling products as they enter and leave the facility and managing inventory. The role is based at Fastenal’s branch at 7377 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, and is scheduled for 5–28 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with shifts listed as 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. A flexible schedule may be available after onboarding and training and upon meeting performance goals. Training includes on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual learning intended to build the knowledge and skills needed for the role and career growth. The listed pay range is $16–$18 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet driving-record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and potentially up to 75 pounds.
Pass the required drug screen (in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam only).
Pass a background check required by a customer or contract serviced by this location.
