About The Position

The Warehouse Picker/Receiver leads by example and ensures projects and day-to-day work are performed in accordance with company standards. Working closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager, this role receives and picks materials, loads and unloads inbound and outbound trucks, and organizes materials in designated locations. The associate reports suspected material damage or inventory issues, assembles customer orders onto consolidated pallets, and wraps and bands pallets for safe delivery. The role also supports customer pickups by safely loading materials into residential vehicles, works with coworkers to handle large and awkward items, and assists with container receipts through physical unloading and system entries. The associate collaborates with the operations team on projects that improve operations and maintains a safe, clean work area. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with availability required during the 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. window. Overtime is required as business needs dictate. The role requires regularly lifting and moving boxes weighing 50–75 pounds and standing for long periods. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

Availability Monday through Friday during the 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. window.
Ability to regularly lift and move heavy boxes weighing 50–75 pounds.
Knowledge and experience with forklifts and reach machines.
At least one year of prior experience.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

Lead by example and ensure projects and daily work meet company standards.
Work closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager.
Receive and pick materials; load and unload inbound and outbound trucks in a timely manner.
Organize and put away materials in designated locations.
Communicate discovered or suspected material damage and inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
Pull and compile customer orders onto consolidated pallets, then wrap and band pallets for safe delivery.
Assist customers with pickups by safely loading materials into residential vehicles.
Work with coworkers to move large and awkward boxes and pieces.
Assist with container receipts, including physically unloading materials and making system inputs.
Work with the operations team on projects that improve and advance operations.
Maintain a safe and clean work area.
