About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and customers by accurately and safely receiving and pulling orders in a fast-paced environment. The role involves preparing orders for delivery or pickup, assisting with truck loading, managing incoming shipments and inventory, and coordinating with coworkers and customers. The associate also operates a forklift, performs vehicle safety checks, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and efficient facility.

This position is based at POOLCORP’s NPT Austin location in Pflugerville, Texas. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Pay is $18.00–$21.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn up to $2,500 through performance bonuses. The position is safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background verifications.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift experience.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, fill, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist with loading the delivery truck.
• Receive shipments and log them into inventory.
• Maintain inventory through audits.
• Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently and maintain required certification.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
