Requirements

Ability to lift heavy merchandise
Ability to go up and down a ladder throughout the day
Ability to operate machinery after proper training
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to count inventory quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Ability to read and write in English
High School diploma or equivalent
Quick learner
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
Basic understanding of computers
High level of alertness and attention to detail to recognize issues with shipments
Overtime required as needed

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience a plus

Responsibilities

Receive inbound shipments of inventory via commercial carrier
Utilize computer/scanners to receive shipments of inventory into our system
Check order to ensure we received the correct quantity and that there is nothing wrong with the parts we received
Make a note of any damaged product that we may receive and let your supervisor know
Neatly place inventory in its designated location.
Organize warehouse to make parts easily accessible- using First in-First out Method (FIFO)
Assist team members in daily housekeeping to prevent unnecessary hazards throughout warehouse
Contact vendors about orders when needed
Pick and pack orders as needed
Other job duties as assigned by your supervisor
