About The Position

Warehouse Associates may handle loose freight and load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision, while following company safety policies and procedures. The role includes warehouse functions such as order picking, loading trucks, using handheld scanners and warehouse management system equipment, maintaining a clean and orderly facility, and providing timely, detail-oriented service to customers.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The warehouse may be non-air-conditioned or heated, so indoor temperatures fluctuate with the seasons. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may be non-air-conditioned or heated, with indoor temperatures that fluctuate with the seasons.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as experience with order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks while considering the weight, size, and characteristics of products.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for yourself and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
