Warehouse Associate - Kitting
About The Position
AFC Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate-Kitting to support its supply chain management operations serving manufacturers and other users of fasteners and assembly components. The role reports to the Distribution Center Manager and involves light assembly, product kitting and repackaging, quality inspection, and operation of packaging machinery. The position requires physical activity, including walking, standing, carrying materials, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or equipment. Maximum unassisted lift is 40 pounds, with average lifts under 25 pounds. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hourly pay is $17.50.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Packaging and light assembly work experience.
- At least 1 year of production or warehouse experience.
- Basic math and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items.
- Ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and climb ladders or equipment.
