About The Position

As GCG continues to grow, we are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to add to our team in Tempe, AZ! In this role, your main responsibility will be cutting wire to customer orders, picking and packing orders, and assisting with general warehouse duties as needed. If you have a strong work ethic and the desire to learn with a growing company, this position is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a leading distributor of industrial automation and connectivity solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse or production environment required
• Computer literacy required
• Must be able to regularly stand, walk, bend and lift 50lbs
• High school diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating manufacturing machines a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate spooling machine to cut wire to customer specifications
• Pick inventory using sit down forklifts and tablets
• Pack orders and prep for shipment
• Sweep floors, wipe scrap off machinery, throw trash away, etc
• Cross train in departments including inventory, shipping, receiving, and picking
• Assist with additional duties as needed
