About The Position

Granite Telecommunications is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics. The role involves receiving, storing, tracking, and distributing telecommunications equipment and materials for customer installations and internal operations. It is an agile position, with day-to-day responsibilities varying according to business needs. The successful candidate will work accurately in a fast-paced environment and follow safety and quality standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
Experience using inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience in telecommunications, technology, or electronics warehousing environments.
Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and inventory tracking tools.
Experience supporting field service or installation organizations.
Knowledge of shipping carriers, freight coordination, and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
Stock and organize telecommunications equipment, hardware, and materials in the warehouse.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to field technicians, customer sites, and company locations.
Conduct inventory counts, cycle counts, and audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
Process inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management and shipping systems.
Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Maintain inventory documentation and update inventory records in company systems.
Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Project Management, and Field Operations teams to ensure timely material delivery.
Package sensitive telecommunications equipment according to established handling and shipping procedures.
Assist with returns, RMAs, defective equipment processing, and asset recovery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
Identify inventory discrepancies and escalate issues to warehouse leadership.
