About The Position

Ornua Ingredients North America custom formulates and manufactures pasteurized process cheese products. The Warehouse Associate stacks, organizes, and stores product to meet customer specifications while following company policies related to good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and safety. The role operates a stacking machine and forklift, handles and transports products and materials, and supports warehouse housekeeping and maintenance. The position is based in Hilbert, Wisconsin, is full-time, and is scheduled Sunday through Thursday from 8:15 p.m. to 6:15 a.m. The listed base hourly rate is $22.50, plus a 15% shift differential, for a stated total of $25.87 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Dependability and a stable work history.
Good written and verbal skills.
Basic math, language, and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Ability and willingness to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.
Ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds when working as a stacker.
Ability to stand for a full 10-hour workday as a warehouse stacker.
Ability to bend, stand, walk, turn, and pivot.
Ability to read and comprehend shipping and receiving reports and pick slips.
Ability to make minor decisions based on standard practice.

Nice To Haves

Warehouse work experience is preferred but not required.
Prior forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate the stacking machine within the warehouse.
Stack product according to customer expectations.
Use a forklift to return product to racking.
Use appropriate material-handling equipment to move products and materials to and from designated locations to support bulk activities safely and efficiently.
Load, unload, and transport product efficiently.
Assist with daily housekeeping and department maintenance.
Support the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety observations.
Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support efficient department operations.
Be flexible to work in other warehouse positions as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe environment.
