About The Position
The Warehouse Associate will be a support to Acker Storage LLC’s warehouse operations. This position will sort, load and unload products, along with other various warehouse activities.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, stand, sit and reach.
- Stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to regularly lift and move 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Navigate a warehouse and reach items both high and low.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift operator certification a plus.
Responsibilities
- Inspect product for defects and damages.
- Organize, barcode, and box items for sale
- Check, verify and fill orders.
- Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
- Assists with periodic physical inventory audits.
- Operates forklift truck when necessary.
- Abide by all company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
- Performs other related duties as requested.
