About The Position

Würth Baer Supply Company is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for its Indianapolis, Indiana branch. This is a direct-hire, Monday–Friday day-shift position on a small team, working alongside the warehouse manager and supporting delivery drivers. The role involves a variety of warehouse duties and requires strong warehouse experience, an excellent customer focus, and flexibility as duties shift. The schedule is 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. ET, with weekends off. Starting pay is $21.00 per hour and is non-negotiable. Employment is contingent on passing a 10-panel drug test, which includes testing for THC/cannabis. The position requires lifting and lowering packages weighing up to 70 pounds, using safe lifting techniques, and adapting to fluctuating temperatures. The role is customer-facing and requires an excellent customer-focused attitude.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of warehouse experience, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and loading or unloading trucks.
Good communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Forklift experience.
Ability to lift and lower packages weighing up to 70 pounds and use proper lifting and lowering techniques.
Ability to stand for 3 to 4 hours at a time.
Ability to withstand fluctuating temperature changes.
Ability to learn new systems quickly.
Excellent work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to adapt to shifting job duties.
Successful completion of a 10-panel pre-employment drug test, including THC/cannabis testing.

Responsibilities

Pick orders, primarily on foot using a cart, and pack them.
Handle shipping and receiving, including checking in materials.
Load and unload materials and trucks.
Put away and stock materials.
Operate a sit-down propane forklift.
Palletize and wrap skids.
Perform individual and team lifting and lowering of packages, including packages weighing up to 70 pounds, using proper safety techniques.
Clean and maintain general housekeeping in the warehouse.
Perform other warehouse duties as needed.
Provide customer-focused service in this customer-facing role.
