About The Position

The Part-time Warehouse Associate supports branch operations by managing products entering and leaving the facility and maintaining inventory. The role is based at Fastenal’s branch at 1747 Glenwood St, Delano, CA 93215, and involves receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory. The associate may also make local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed and helps maintain a clean, safe work environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 10–28 hours per week. Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training. The pay range is $17–$21 per hour. The part-time benefit listed is a 401(k) with an employer contribution.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a current, full, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet the company's driving record requirements for use of a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
