About The Position

As a warehouse selector on Wegmans’ distribution team, you will help deliver exceptional service by accurately and efficiently selecting products for Wegmans stores. The role uses attention to detail and teamwork to support safe, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations. Overnight positions consist of four 10-hour shifts per week. Frozen positions earn an additional $2.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, and Vocollect.

Responsibilities

• Build product pallets safely and efficiently to minimize damage during transportation and maximize trailer space.
• Safely operate equipment needed for the job, which may include a forklift, pallet jack, and/or Vocollect.
• Perform order audits to determine accuracy and quality.
• Maintain knowledge of product quality standards, specifications, and requirements.
• Inform operations management of daily quality issues through reports and other necessary communication.
• Maintain the integrity of the cold chain for loads with temperature requirements.
