About The Position

Bell Cabinetry & Design Center is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to safely receive, move, store, and load materials while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining a smooth and organized flow of materials within the warehouse or production environment.

Requirements

  • Valid forklift operator certification. Proven experience as a forklift driver.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to operate the forklift in a confident and precise manner for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to safely load, unload, and move materials of varying sizes and weights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts to transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, materials, and supplies onto outbound trucks. Unload sheet stock, hardwood lumber, finishing Materials from vendor trucks.
  • Load sheet stock material into StoreTeq system.
  • Receive and inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage.
  • Transport hardwood lumber into solid wood cell from Receiving area.
  • Move and stage materials for production and warehouse operations.
  • Organize and store inventory in designated rack and storage locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory locations, material and receipt transactions into Insight for proper inventory records.
  • Assist with material counts and inventory audits as needed.
  • Maintain a clean warehouse, empty dumpsters and organized areas and free of safety hazards.
  • Remove waste & dispose of bunks of wood after loading material into StoreTeq.
  • Remove general waste from the production areas.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly to the maintenance department.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and warehouse procedures.
  • When other tasks are completed, support Receiving team by unloading trucks and moving items into hardware cage and production team as needed.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Manage and support the solvent reclaim process, maintaining accurate weekly consumption, production, reclaim, and waste disposal reports to track material usage, identify efficiencies, and ensure proper environmental compliance.
