About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to inbound and outbound operations, including receiving, order selecting, unloading, loading, put-aways, replenishments, and sanitation. Associates must adhere to PACT values: Purpose, Accountability, Courage, and Transparency. Reliable and consistent attendance is a requirement, as is punctuality and dependability to meet business needs. This role involves following all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), and ensuring warehouse procedures, guidelines, and policies are met. Compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures is also essential. The associate will efficiently operate computer systems, ensure product is received, unloaded, loaded, and stored securely, packed, and accurately labeled, and meet minimum department productivity expectations. They will identify overages and missing or damaged products, fulfill order selections, and complete put-aways and replenishments. Inspecting incoming products, labeling them, and preparing them for shipping or storage are key duties. The role also assists in reconciling and maintaining accurate inventory, communicating efficiently with management and teammates, and assisting with training new employees. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma from an accredited school or general education development (GED) certificate.
  • 6+ months of relevant experience
  • Forklift experience
  • Must complete HFB Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) training and certification within 30 days of hire date
  • Ability to operate all types of warehouse machinery, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, long and short pallet jacks, manual jacks, computers, copiers, and other business equipment
  • Ability to work with a diverse population
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly
  • Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist others
  • Ability to work on and adapt to multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to deadlines in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
  • Able to work cooperatively and coordinate well with other departments, partners, and neighbors
  • Proactive self-starter who is self-motivated to contribute to the team
  • Strong time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

  • Daily requirement to analyze and interpret data, communicate, and remain in a standing or stationary position for a significant amount of the workday.
  • Must regularly move about the office and around the facility, use hands, wrists, and fingers to type, write, bend, kneel, squat, use hands and fingers to handle, grip, squeeze, and/or feel; push, pull, and reach with hands and arms; and position themselves to retrieve product.
  • Must frequently lift 50 pounds.
  • Will need to have the average ability to hear horns, warnings, and alerts associated with a warehouse.
  • Is legally able to work in the United States.
