About The Position

Tate’s Bake Shop is looking for a Warehouse Associate to join their main manufacturing plant in East Moriches, NY. Associates help in the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for helping process work orders and internal requisitions and help in ensuring all transactions are properly recorded. You must be detail oriented, a great communicator and a team player.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
1+ Years of previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
Knowledge of common carrier receiving and shipping procedures
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards
Basic computer skills

Nice To Haves

Ability to drive forklift preferred

Responsibilities

Helping ensure that products and raw materials are properly segregated during in-house storage.
Ensuring raw materials related to Production and Assembly are delivered in a timely manner and allocated through the MRP system.
Ensuring the safe and efficient operations of all material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA, FDA, SQF and other regulatory requirements.
Maintaining neat, organized and environmentally safe warehouse and storage locations as outlined in standard operating procedures.
Responsible for QA & Compliance system to assure food safety & quality.
Other duties as assigned
