About The Position

The Warehouse Associate maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, picking and delivering items to production. Associates are also responsible for the general organization of the warehouse.

Requirements

Must have a working knowledge and understanding of manufacturing warehouse and stock control methods, procedures, equipment and terminology.
Must have experience managing and counting inventory.
Must have experience using computer software, including warehouse/inventory software, internet and email.
Must be able to safely operate a forklift and/or other assigned vehicles and equipment.
Must have a working knowledge and understanding of safety requirements and practice them.
Must have the ability to work efficiently with all departments, communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
Must have good time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills.
Must be able to work assigned shift, arriving on time and abiding by all attendance policies.
A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

Inventory accuracy, control and management.
Conduct two full physical inventories per year and monthly cycle counts.
Manually receive inventory deliveries, including opening, unpacking, verifying quantities, assigning locations, labeling, and recording on the company's information system.
Receive cab & chassis/move around the yard.
Receive tanks/set tanks on chassis.
Issue inventory to the shop floor (pick to carts) using an iPad as a picklist, scanning items, pulling truck/work orders with accuracy, and organized fashion.
Communicate inventory issues to the Warehouse Manager, identify shortages, and expedite fulfillment by contacting the materials manager.
Stay ahead of production at least 48 hours.
Issue chassis and tanks.
Maintain an orderly warehouse, including proper labeling of inventory shelves, creating new inventory locations on the company system, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
Ship inventory to Customers and the Ohio operation using UPS World Wide Ship for non-freight shipments and packing items securely for transit.
