About The Position

As a CBRE Warehouse Associate, you will assist with coordinating shipping and receiving tasks. The role is part of the Supply Chain function, which is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain. You will support accurate, efficient shipments and inventory management, and work with customers, subcontractors, and shipping and receiving teams to help Operations deliver projects on time and within budget. The role also involves analyzing data to solve complex problems, recommending new techniques, and suggesting process improvements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED and 3–4 years of job-related experience.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift at least 40 pounds.
Comprehensive understanding of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within the job function.
Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual or complex content concisely and logically.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Advanced organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
Advanced math skills, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, and markups.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Label materials for shipping using the most cost-effective shipping method.
Examine shipment contents and compare them with records to verify the accuracy of inbound and outgoing shipments.
Record shipment data, including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping.
Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory.
Keep records of stock usage and damage to stock or stock-handling equipment.
Work with customers, subcontractors, and shipping and receiving teams to help Operations facilitate on-time and on-budget projects.
Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems, including problems with little or no precedent; may recommend new techniques.
Suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions to improve team efficiency.
