About The Position

Grimco is hiring a Warehouse Associate to operate as a single-person operation at a child branch. The role supports warehouse efficiency and order fulfillment by preparing sign and sign-supply orders for shipment, handling incoming and outgoing inventory, and assisting with deliveries. The position works Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Knowledge of WMS, printing ticket orders, MS Office Suite, email, and internet navigation.
• Ability to complete and pass a criminal background screening.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing more than 70 pounds.
• Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods and frequently bend, stoop, and reach daily.
• Ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
• Full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines, including a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack signs and sign supplies in preparation for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload delivery trucks by hand and using a forklift.
• Ship and receive orders using RF scanners and a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain clear and accurate inventory records.
• Measure and cut custom-size product pieces using a panel saw and/or roll slitter.
• Examine workplace conditions daily to ensure they meet applicable OSHA standards and Grimco’s Warehouse Safety Checklist.
• Assist couriers and delivery drivers with loading vehicles, verify load accuracy, and maximize delivery efficiency.
• Maintain equipment, trucks, and the warehouse, including cleaning, sweeping, maintenance, and special projects.
