A Warehouse Associate is accountable for the efficient management and optimization of warehouse operations, with focus on accurately packing orders, regularly completing deliveries using company vehicles, and maintaining product integrity. Proficiency in operating machinery and heavy equipment is essential and collaboration with the warehouse team to uphold company policies and safety standards is a key aspect of the role. Please note that this is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of extention based on Operational Needs.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or the equivalent
  • Proven experience as a labourer
  • Ability to operate and control machinery and equipment
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in data organization and goal-oriented project management

  • Situational Adaptability: Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations

Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence
  • Report maintenance or equipment problems to appropriate personnel
  • Review, evaluate, and implement new administrative procedures
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all external client interactions, ensuring superior account management
  • Forge enduring relationships with clients at all levels, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to meet their evolving needs
  • Checks, verifies, and fills customer orders
  • Complete deliveries and pick ups to support the order fulfillment process
  • Regularly monitor and track equipment inventory levels
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to restock and replenish inventory as needed
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts
  • Review work orders and blueprints to ensure work is performed according to specifications
  • Ensures that all customer orders are fulfilled to meet or exceed our standards prior to shipping
  • Examines all ingoing and outgoing shipments
  • Utilize software to track and update sales order availability
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of records for orders and inventory
  • Maintain production equipment and machinery
  • Operate machinery and heavy equipment, such as forklifts, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
