About The Position

Warehouse associates will be responsible for the direct movement of materials and supplies for order completion and inventory control within their assigned area. The main job function will be unloading floor loaded containers onto pallets with given TI-HI instructions, maintain a clean work area, work with production on labeling and packing when needed. This role requires the ability to lift items up to 45 lbs or team lift if over 45 lbs, and hand wrap pallets with a provided film roll so that they don’t fall when unloaded from the container by the forklift driver. The associate must be able to constantly recognize product types and sizes according to provided picklist while unloading containers and report any shortages or damages to lead person. They will also constantly be required to identify color coded safety & warning areas/notices (most colored yellow and red and some in small print) in order to maintain a safe work environment. The role operates in an environment that includes seasonal heat & cold; exposure to safety areas with moving equipment; dust/dirt; noise; vibrations from equipment; lighting differences; and occasional fumes. The associate must be able to identify and react to potential hazards and perform basic math functions.

Matching packing slips with purchase orders and receiving them into the computer.
Working in production areas (Hand pack, bagging, etc.).
Loading and unloading of trailers at the docks as assigned.
Properly tagging/labeling received goods.
Processing daily assignments accurately and timely.

Sweeping floors and maintaining a tidy work area.
