Warehouse Associate 1st Shift
About The Position
This individual will perform domestic and international shipping and receiving tasks, such as verifying shipment details against records to ensure accuracy in type and quantity of materials. They will route items to appropriate departments and maintain all shipping documentation. This individual will also pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders and company policies. As a Warehouse Associate, you will ensure the accuracy of shipping transactions in SAP and report any shipping-related issues to the Group Leader.
Requirements
- Ability to pick, pack and prepare product for shipment as specified in the customer order and in accordance with division policies and procedures
- Ability to ensure complete and accurate shipping of all products, daily cycle counts, maintenance of finished goods warehouse and receipting of finished goods into the respective inventories in accordance with established procedures
- Ability to report accuracy of all shipping transactions in SAP
- Ability to report any shipping related problems as they occur to the Logistics Manager
- Ability to support goals of continuous improvement by serving on ad hoc committees and or teams as required
- Ability to contact carriers for service
