About The Position

National Star Services, a facility management company providing services nationwide, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker for a client facility in Chicago, Illinois. This full-time, temp-to-hire role involves hands-on warehouse processing in a cold environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday on the first shift, from 4:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Overtime is available. Pay is $18.00 per hour for regular hours and $27.00 per hour for overtime, with biweekly pay.

Requirements

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required for effective communication.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• Must be available to start as soon as possible.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 90 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to remain standing and active for extended periods.
• Comfort working in a cold environment ranging from -10°F to 30°F.
• Ability to remain on one's feet and actively moving for approximately 80–90% of the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and other physical warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pull customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and organize pallets for loading onto delivery trucks.
• Organize products throughout the warehouse and freezer using a pallet jack.
• Unload incoming products and store them in designated areas.
• Check products and orders for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
• Perform daily warehouse cleaning and general housekeeping duties.
• Follow safety procedures and proper warehouse practices.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
