About The Position

Superior Glove is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Afternoon Shift at its Global Headquarters in Acton, ON, Canada. This role involves performing various warehouse duties in designated areas such as LTL, Courier/Shipping, and Receiving. The position reports to the Plant Manager and offers an opportunity to contribute to an innovative, family-oriented, and fast-growing organization. Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Ability to use a hand-held device (e.g., RF scanner).
  • Basic computer skills essential.
  • Math skills required to ensure order accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills are essential to be able to work with all departments and outside contacts.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • An ability to understand when an issue needs to be escalated.
  • Strong record keeping/documentation skills.
  • Ability to use judgment to determine if the gloves are of good quality.
  • Must be adaptable to fast and ongoing changes in priorities.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs during regular duties along with bending/walking/pushing/pulling.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year of warehouse/shipping experience preferred.
  • Forklift, Walkie, WAVE, Tow Motor and Man-Up licenses preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

  • Picking orders using a handheld device and various warehouse machines, retrieving orders from different rooms and heights while identifying order specifications.
  • Packing and processing orders into appropriate boxes according to sizing, model, order, and color.
  • Shrink wrapping skids, stacking, and building skids in a safe manner.
  • Assisting with weights and measurements on products when needed.
  • Verifying orders and marking special orders with appropriate labeling.
  • Loading trucks in an efficient manner while following all regulated safety precautions.
  • Performing cycle/inventory counts as required.
  • Assisting with unloading/receiving of trucks.
  • Assisting with customer pick-ups as required.
  • Following and complying with all operational and safety procedures/policies stated in the employee handbook, safety, customer service, quality, and environment programs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
