About The Position

The Part-time Warehouse Associate supports branch operations by managing the flow of products entering and leaving the facility and helping maintain inventory. The position is based at Fastenal’s branch at 509 Armstrong Way, Oakdale, California. The scheduled shifts are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for 10 to 28 hours per week. The role includes receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory; making local deliveries in a company vehicle as necessary; and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training to support employees’ performance and development.

Requirements

Be 18 years of age or older.
Have a current, full, valid driver’s license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated license program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
Have proficient written and oral communication skills.
Have proficient computer skills.
Be able to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
Be highly motivated, self-directed, and customer-service oriented.
Demonstrate attention to detail and a strong sense of urgency.
Be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Be able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
