About The Position

Summit Electric Supply is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. This role is crucial in fulfilling customer needs by receiving materials, picking orders, and participating in inventory management. It is an entry-level position perfect for learning about the business, product knowledge, and industry best practices, offering opportunities for future growth within Summit. Summit Electric Supply provides electrical products and services to contractors and operates across Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written
  • Flexibility – ability to effectively adapt to change
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Aptitude for learning
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment
  • Pre-employment assessments, drug, and background screens are administered.
  • Professional appearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
  • Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
  • Load and unload Summit trucks.
  • Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
  • Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
  • Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
  • Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
  • Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit’s commitment to a safe workplace.
