About The Position

Fraser Direct is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team and support various departments. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse. The associate will perform hands-on tasks in various departments, including Receiving, Picking, and Packaging, to ensure client expectations are met accurately and on time. This position involves cross-training and assisting in multiple areas.

Requirements

  • Prior experience using RF scanner and voice-picking system.
  • Ability to lift or move 50lbs/23 kg regularly throughout the shift.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and stretch ongoing throughout the day to accomplish tasks.
  • Demonstrated commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Willingness to learn with a positive a can-do attitude.
  • Full-time availability.
  • Unrestricted work authorization in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Use appropriate equipment for order selection, including voice-picking headsets and RF scanners.
  • Follow spoken instructions via voice picking system to locate and pick items accurately.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and meet client expectations.
  • Package orders according to client specification.
  • Package orders as specified by the client, ensuring the finished product will meet customers' expectations.
  • Meet productivity expectations while performing tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Load and restock production lines (conveyors and packaging machines) with products.
  • Perform inventory maintenance, including cycle counts on pick locations, as assigned.
  • Manually lift and handle cartons of product, sorting and rebuilding skids as required.
  • Unload inbound shipments safely and efficiently (manually or using lifting devices such as pump truck, walkie, forklift) and stage shipment in the receiving area.
  • Record shipment information (e.g. product number, quantity, expiry date, lot numbers).
  • Follow health & safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Be flexible and willing to cross-train in different departments, assist with other tasks as needed.
