About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations, encompassing receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to determine bins or shelves location.
  • Ability to use a hand-held radio frequency (RF) scanner.
  • Ability to use a forklift, pallet-jack, electric pallet-jack, or by hand.
  • Ability to check shipments against packing lists and for damage.
  • Ability to mark stock items using identification tags.
  • Ability to store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Ability to prepare preliminary shipping papers.
  • Ability to document weight, piece count and freight classification of all products.
  • Ability to determine the method of shipping on appropriate carriers.
  • Ability to mark and label according to Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations.
  • Ability to interact with customers in person.
  • Ability to complete accurate and prompt fulfillment of orders.
  • Ability to clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Ability to determine proper storage methods.
  • Ability to examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.
  • Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear or smell, up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance and peripheral vision.

Responsibilities

  • Picking product with a hand-held radio frequency (RF) scanner, ensuring accuracy and quantity by scanning barcodes.
  • Placing and/or packing product into cartons or onto a pallet to provide damage-free shipment.
  • Unloading trucks, using a forklift, pallet-jack, electric pallet-jack, or by hand.
  • Verifying quantity ordered versus quantity received.
  • Checking all shipments against packing lists and for damage.
  • Marking stock items using identification tags.
  • Storing items in an orderly and accessible manner.
  • Moving materials and items to designated bins or shelves.
  • Preparing preliminary shipping papers, documenting weight, piece count and freight classification of all products.
  • Determining the method of shipping on appropriate carriers.
  • Marking and labeling according to Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations.
  • Scheduling shipments.
  • Interacting with customers in person.
  • Completing accurate and prompt fulfillment of orders.
  • Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determining proper storage methods.
  • Examining and inspecting stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to manager.
