About The Position

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. As the #1 Commercial Tire Dealer in the U.S. since 2008, we are a fast-growing, family-owned company where warehouse associates are critical to our success. This role involves managing the flow of inventory, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently and safely. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to lift and move tires and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs., with or without assistance

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when necessary
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and work with a team
• Tire or warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available if needed)

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments of tires and related inventory
• Coordinate closely with shipping, sales, pickup & delivery (P&D), and service departments
• Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
• Assign tasks to team members as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency
• Assist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and organization
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
• Promote teamwork and maintain clear communication with coworkers
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned
