About The Position

Wesco is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Associate for a current, active vacancy intended for immediate hire. The role performs warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance of assigned areas. The scheduled shift is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. No experience is required. A high school degree or equivalent and one year of warehouse operations experience are preferred. Wesco provides training and development opportunities and educational assistance. Benefits may vary by location and union environment.

Requirements

• Basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment, including power equipment.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• One year of warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete log sheets and handle inbound shipments.
• Verify supplier returns and enter order receipts.
• Relocate and consolidate material.
• Prepare and assemble packing lists.
• Pack, label, wrap, and load outbound trucks.
• Perform warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and general maintenance of assigned areas.
