About The Position

NTN Bearing Corporation is seeking a self-motivated team player to work as a Warehouse Associate. The position may assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and special projects as directed by the Supervisor/Warehouse Manager. The starting wage is $15.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered depends on factors including job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. The role involves labeling and palletizing orders, potentially receiving and inspecting incoming merchandise, and following task-specific work instructions. It requires extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces and the ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. The position also includes examining work for accuracy, neatness, and compliance with policies and procedures, as well as helping define, implement, and standardize procedures to improve process efficiency.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
Must have computer skills for emailing and communication and be able to use Microsoft Excel.
The job requires extensive walking and standing on hard surfaces.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is a plus.

Responsibilities

Label cartons and boxes with part number, purchase order number, name, and other customer requirements.
Palletize orders and initial all orders handled personally.
Potentially receive incoming merchandise or bearings, check quantities against invoices or packing lists, and inspect for rust.
Follow work instructions created for specific assigned tasks.
Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Define, implement, and standardize procedures to improve process efficiency.
Assist with shipping, receiving, returns, and special projects as directed by the Supervisor/Warehouse Manager.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
