About The Position

Warehouse Associates may handle loose freight and load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. Associates work cooperatively with others and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is important to the position. The scheduled shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be air-conditioned or heated and whose indoor temperature fluctuates with the seasons.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks while considering the weight, size, and characteristics of products.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to maintain safe working conditions for self and others.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
