About The Position

The Warehouse Associate works under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor and performs warehouse activities including building orders, loading and unloading delivery vehicles, and maintaining inventory according to the Company’s product-rotation policy. The position requires safe operation of warehouse equipment, adherence to company safety procedures, and completion of end-of-shift duties. The role involves physically demanding work and exposure to varying indoor and outdoor weather and lighting conditions.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to function in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to operate power jacks and forklifts.
Strength to lift, load, push, and pull cases weighing up to 150 pounds.
Manual dexterity to operate a dolly, six-wheeler cart, and powered or manual pallet jack.
Ability to safely operate power jacks and forklifts numerous times each day.
Ability to bend, reach, and squat consistently while moving and stocking products for up to 12 hours daily.
Stamina to continuously stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day.
Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions across high and low temperatures and varying weather, including wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet, and snow.
Ability to work in daylight, twilight, evening, and dark lighting conditions.

Nice To Haves

One year of previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Accurately select products and build loads according to the load sheet.
Report damaged products to a supervisor.
Maintain product inventory on a first-in, first-out basis.
Follow safe work practices, Company policies, and OSHA forklift operational guidelines when operating company equipment.
Be punctual and follow the company dress code for warehouse associates.
Maintain knowledge of Faust Distributing’s brands and packages.
Clean up breakers and complete all end-of-shift tasks.
Follow safety practices, Company policies, rules, and regulations.
Report accidents and on-the-job injuries to a supervisor, management member, or Human Resources according to the employee handbook protocol.
Follow Faust’s safety training policy and procedures.
Load and unload delivery vehicles and build orders.
