About The Position
Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional company in the Rocky Mountain West with six store locations across five states. It serves customers in industries including oilfield, construction, medical, manufacturing, military, and government, using extensive hose and fitting knowledge, inventory, and a hydraulic CNC tube bender. The Warehouse Associate performs a range of warehouse functions at the company’s Salt Lake City, Utah location. This is a full-time position with benefits.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to operate a crimper, forklift, shop machinery, and related equipment.
- General education degree (GED), high school diploma, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior warehouse or similar industry experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive and put away products within 24 hours.
- Handle shipment and product issues in a timely manner in coordination with vendors, customers, purchasing, and accounting.
- Assemble, package, and ship products to customers and vendors according to requirements.
- Cycle count inventory.
- Review and process weekly reports to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by updating the system when issues are identified or working to resolve them.
