About The Position

AmeriWater is a long-established industry leader in the design, manufacture, installation and supply of water purification systems and services for dialysis, industrial and healthcare applications. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Dayton, Ohio! Responsible for managing the flow of materials and inventory withing a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This includes receiving raw materials and components, accurately storing and pulling inventory, staging for production, and shipping finished goods and parts. Ensures inventory accuracy through ERP transactions, cycle counts, and coordination with key departments such as production, planning, purchasing, and customer service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication, organizational, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in safely operating lift trucks and other material handling equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with ERP systems, preferred.
  • Forklift License (company provided training)

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean organized warehouse, shipping areas, receiving areas, and material storage areas.
  • Follow all plant safety guidelines and standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in kaizen events, improvement projects, or cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and condition against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Accurately label, document, and put away materials in designated inventory locations.
  • Pull and stage materials and components for production according to work orders.
  • Conduct ERP system transactions for all inventory movements.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and support inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Prepare and package finished goods for shipment to customers.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and ensure timely delivery.
  • Generate shipping documentation including BOLs, packing slips, and labels.
  • Coordinate inventory and material needs with production, planning, purchasing, and customer service teams.
  • Provide updates on material availability and delivery schedules.
