Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, carrying, grasping, reaching, stooping, crouching, etc.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment.
  • High noise levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication abilities.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly.
  • Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage.
  • Assist co-workers and customers.
  • Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas.
  • Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
