About The Position
The Warehouse Associate manages the flow of IT hardware and accessories through a stockroom. The role receives, stores, ships, and tracks equipment; supports e-waste disposal and vendor returns; and helps keep the warehouse safe, organized, and audit-ready. Responsibilities include inspecting and logging incoming items in the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) system, labeling and storing assets, preparing shipments, recording returns, conducting inventory audits, and maintaining accurate documentation. Forklift operation is applicable only where required and only for certified operators.
Requirements

- Ability to lift and move equipment safely.
- Reliability, safety-consciousness, and ability to follow standard procedures.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse, stockroom, or inventory experience.
- Comfort with inventory or asset tracking systems such as HAM, Quickbase, or similar, and spreadsheets.
- Forklift certification, if applicable to the site.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming hardware and accessories for damage, report discrepancies to the manager, and log items as “In Stock” in the HAM system.
- Label items with asset tags and store them securely in designated areas by category.
- Load hardware onto trucks using proper lifting techniques and secure items to prevent damage in transit.
- Verify and log returned hardware in the Hardware Returns Spreadsheet daily and update HAM.
- Identify obsolete or unusable assets, dispose of e-waste according to company guidelines, and process vendor returns at least monthly.
- Perform monthly audits on a rotating asset type, record counts in Quickbase, and report and correct discrepancies.
- Complete the daily checklist and operate forklift equipment only if certified, when applicable.
- Keep aisles and fire exits clear, promptly dispose of packaging, and immediately report hazards.
- Maintain accurate, timely records, including HAM updates, returns logs, and disposal records.
