Seasonal Warehouse Associate - Cedar Rapids Fulfillment Center
About The Position
The Seasonal Warehouse Associate supports operations at Nordstrom’s Midwest Fulfillment Center by ensuring inventory and orders are accurately audited, processed, assembled, packed, and shipped. The role works in a climate-controlled environment with high safety standards and set schedules across several shift options. Employees receive access to training and development opportunities and may be eligible for performance-based incentives or bonuses. The position involves material handling and repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. Associates may work in designated areas throughout the department and building, complete shipping or receiving documentation, follow standard operating procedures and reference aids, research and resolve issues, and communicate improvement suggestions to leadership.

Responsibilities
- Accurately audit, process, assemble, pack, and ship inventory and orders.
- Follow job rotation requirements and work where designated within the department and building.
- Handle materials, including repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation as required.
- Follow standard operating procedures and reference aids, identify areas for improvement, and communicate suggestions to leadership as appropriate.
- Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources.
